The Director-General of NAFDAC, Prof Mojisola Adeyeye, emphasized this stance during the 2024 training of Ports Inspection Directorate Priority Clients. The training focused on Ports Inspection Data Capture and Risk Management System (PIDCARMS) platform in Lagos.

Adeyeye, represented by Dr. Abimbola Adegboye, the Director of Ports Inspection Directorate, highlighted the significance of proficiency in using the PIDCARMS platform for industry operators. The goal is to facilitate ease of doing business and enhance port clearance procedures.

 

The Director-General expressed the agency’s commitment to providing essential insights and guidance on the optimized PIDCARMS for effective and seamless port clearance procedures. She emphasized the agency’s dedication to staying updated on technological advancements and industry best practices.

 

Adeyeye clarified that membership in the Priority Client Platform is not automatic, requiring operators to demonstrate a commitment to maintaining high standards to enjoy the benefits of being a Priority Client, including 24-hour attention on the platform.
