Tinubu Vows Massive Education Drive to Tackle Insecurity

President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep concern over the recent surge in kidnappings and bandit attacks, denouncing these incidents as disturbing, ungodly, and sinister. During a meeting with a delegation from Jam’iyyatu Ansaridden, a highly respected Islamic movement, at the State House in Abuja on Tuesday, Tinubu assured that the government is swiftly addressing the security challenges while outlining plans for a massive education initiative to empower Nigerian youth.

Tinubu emphasized the pivotal role of education in addressing the issues afflicting the nation, stating, “There is no weapon against poverty that is as potent as learning. I can assure you that we are here to change the lives of our people, promote peace, stability, and economic prosperity.”

Dedicating efforts to building lasting peace, Tinubu underscored the importance of comprehensive education for children, involving teachers and educational institutions in shaping the future of the country. He credited knowledge as the driving force behind his journey and stressed its critical role in generating hope for mankind.

The president highlighted the need to enhance knowledge through existing Islamic learning institutions, especially in Northern Nigeria, to accelerate development in the region, Nigeria, and Africa at large. Tinubu urged special prayers and emphasized the significance of proper education for youth, denouncing kidnapping and banditry as contrary to the path of God.
