Actress Aisha Lawal Shares Terrifying Escape from Ibadan Explosion

Renowned Nollywood actress, Aisha Lawal, has recounted her harrowing experience narrowly escaping the Ibadan explosion that occurred on Tuesday night.

The incident, which took place at Dejo Oyelese Close, Bodija Housing Estate, prompted the actress to share her ordeal on Instagram. Lawal revealed that she was present in Bodija at the time of the explosion, and the impact still echoes in her ears.

In her Instagram post, she expressed gratitude for being alive, stating, “Alhamdulilah for today, I was at Bodija when the explosion took place, in fact, my ears are still ringing from the effect. Thank God for our lives.”

Lawal detailed the sequence of events, mentioning that she initially parked her car near an estate to buy suya. However, she moved her car to another location, specifically from Sloggers Club to the Metro Hotel on the same Osuntokun, just moments before the explosion occurred.

“God have mercy oo. Too many dead bodies. What exactly is going on?” she concluded in her Instagram post, reflecting the shock and concern over the tragic incident.
