Arrests Made in Connection with Behe@ding of Lady in Yola Hotel

In the aftermath of the gruesome behe@ding of a young lady in a hotel in Yola, the Adamawa State capital, the police have taken swift action, arresting three hotel workers suspected to be involved in the crime.

The Police Command’s spokesperson, Suleiman Nguroje, confirmed on Friday that the individuals in custody include Jacob and Yifarta, both receptionists, and Isah, a security guard at the hotel.

Police investigations have revealed that the deceased’s mobile phone and the drug used to sedate her were recovered from the crime scene. The horrifying incident occurred on January 18, 2024, around 9:30 pm when the main suspect, who had checked into the hotel as a guest, behe@ded the victim and fled with her dec@pitated head.

Providing details on the arrests, the police spokesperson stated, “The command has so far apprehended three staff (members) of the hotel and recovered drug and handset of the lady. The drug and handset were recovered at the scene of the crime.”
