Soludo swears in Commissioner, urges innovative thinking

Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, has administered the oath of office to the new Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon Mrs. Beverly Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche, at the Anambra State Government House in Awka.

Nkemdiche assumes the role of Commissioner for Special Duties following the appointment of Hon Sly Ezeokenwa, who was initially appointed to the position by Governor Soludo but later won the election to become the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

During the swearing-in ceremony, Governor Soludo encouraged Nkemdiche to adopt a proactive and innovative approach to her responsibilities, emphasizing the high expectations that accompany the role. He reminded her that Anambra’s citizens have entrusted her with the responsibility of ensuring that special duties are executed efficiently and effectively.

Soludo stated, “It is no secret that this new position requires utmost dedication and commitment. It is a role that demands a person who can think outside the box, show empathy, and establish positive relationships with all stakeholders. I am pleased to say that you possess these and many other qualities that qualify you for this job.”

The Governor expressed his confidence in Nkemdiche’s abilities, acknowledging the transformative vision of the state’s leadership. He offered his full support and extended his best wishes to the new Commissioner, emphasizing the importance of unwavering diligence and integrity in carrying out her duties.
