PDP Governors express gratitude to Tinubu for Wike’s FCT Minister appointment

The Peoples Democratic Party Governors Forum has expressed its gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Nyesom Wike, the former governor of Rivers State, as the minister of the Federal Capital Territory.

In the midst of the ongoing political turmoil within the Rivers State Government House, the PDP Governors Forum paid a courtesy visit to the FCT Minister.

Bala Mohammed, the chairman of the forum and former FCT Minister, addressed the press after the meeting and commended President Tinubu for selecting Wike for the role, despite their opposing political affiliations.

Mohammed stated, “At the risk of being accused of flattery, we really appreciate Mr. President and Nyesom Wike. Again, giving him this office at the FCT, which is like a state, in spite of the fact that he is still one of us as a PDP member, has shown the kind of leadership that Mr. President has.”
