Portuguese match officials set for Nigeria vs. Mozambique friendly

Portuguese match officials are set to oversee Nigeria’s international friendly match against the Mozambique national team, known as the Mambas.

Miguel Nogueira, a Portuguese referee, has been appointed as the match referee for this fixture. Nogueira will be joined by his compatriots Paulo Bras, Ana Loide, and Bruno Viera, who will serve as assistant referee 1, assistant referee 2, and fourth official, respectively.

The match is scheduled to take place at the Estadio Municipal de Portimão next Monday, and it marks the fifth meeting between these two nations.

Kickoff time for the game is set for 4:00 pm Portuguese time, which aligns with the time in Nigeria.

The Nigerian national team, often referred to as the Eagles, will begin their preparations for this match by arriving at the Penina Hotel and Resort in Portimao starting next Tuesday. Additionally, they are scheduled to play a friendly against the Saudi Arabian national team, known as the Green Falcons, on the preceding Friday.
