Cross reveals struggles and toxicity in bbnaija all stars reality show

Ikechukwu Sunday Okonkwo, popularly known as Cross and a finalist in the Big Brother Naija All Stars, recently opened up about his experiences in the reality show, describing it as “dark and toxic.” Cross shared that there was a point where he contemplated taking a voluntary exit due to the challenging atmosphere.

In an interview with media personality Miracle OP, Cross expressed, “A lot of things happened over the time I was in the Big Brother House. I was a bit sad for about two or three weeks. There was a period of time that I actually wanted to go to Big Brother and tell him that I’m done. I really wanted to leave the House.”

He further revealed that the atmosphere inside the house was incredibly challenging, marked by frequent conflicts, arguments, and an overall toxic environment. It was a significant departure from the kind of positive energy he had hoped for. Cross expressed that these intense dynamics began to affect his well-being, and he found it increasingly difficult to be himself.

Cross continued, “The House was so dark; fighting, arguments, toxicity. It was just a different energy that I could not see myself happy. I could not see myself really doing much. There were a lot of strong energies, and they were dimming me. I couldn’t be myself…The House got to me certain times compared to my first season.”

During the interview, Cross also acknowledged that the presence of a houseguest, KimOprah, played a crucial role in helping him maintain his calm. It seems that her companionship helped him cope with the intense and challenging environment that he encountered in the Big Brother Naija All Stars house.
