Mohbad’s father denies placenta demand, asserts “Posterity Will Judge Us”

James Aloba, the father of the late singer Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has responded to his daughter-in-law’s claim that their relationship soured due to her refusal to give him her son’s placenta.

In a recent statement, Omowunmi mentioned during the coroner’s inquest into Mohbad’s death that her strained relationship with her father-in-law stemmed from her decision not to provide him with her son’s placenta.

Disputing this claim, elder Aloba dismissed any such demand, asserting, “posterity will be the judge.”
