Sherwood points finger at Ten Hag for Rashford’s struggles and advocates for Grealish and Foden in England’s starting lineup

Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood has attributed Marcus Rashford’s underwhelming performances this season to Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag. Sherwood goes on to express his belief that Rashford should not be a starter for England at Euro 2024 next summer.

Expressing dissatisfaction with Rashford’s current situation, Sherwood adds, “I think if he was at Man City now, he’s got all the attributes to be a world-class player and make the team. I think there is not going to be a turnaround between now and the end of the season, unfortunately. I think he can thank Ten Hag for that because it’s not been good enough.”

In Sherwood’s view, Jack Grealish should secure a place in the starting lineup, drawing from his personal experience working with the player.
