Yoruba Actress Omowunmi Ajiboye sets the record straight on relationship with MC Oluomo

Renowned Yoruba actress, Omowunmi Ajiboye, has unequivocally denied rumors of a romantic involvement with MC Oluomo. The denial follows online criticism of the actress for alleged disrespect toward her estranged husband, Segun Ogungbe, during her mother’s funeral over the weekend.

Contrary to speculations that MC Oluomo sponsored the funeral, Ajiboye took to Instagram on Monday to clarify the nature of their relationship. She affirmed that while MC Oluomo provided financial support for the burial, there was no romantic entanglement between them.

“I need to clear the air. I am a virtuous and hardworking woman, and I wouldn’t allow my tenacity, name, and truth to be robbed,” she declared in her Instagram post.

Ajiboye revealed that her connection with MC Oluomo was through the group CGI (Connecting Grassroots Initiatives), which she had initiated. She explained that she independently sealed a collaboration with the philanthropist years before her mother’s burial.

“I can categorically say that I have never had a romantic relationship with him prior or during the party. The philanthropist gave me money to support in the presence of the committee a day before the party,” she clarified.

The actress expressed frustration that her individual accomplishments were often attributed to MC Oluomo, undermining her hard work. Despite asserting that there is no romantic involvement, she acknowledged his generosity and emphasized her independence.

“I am Omowunmi Ajiboye; I will never be bullied into silence. Let God judge me if I lie. If this is really my truth, may God bless me more, amen,” she concluded boldly. The statement aims to put an end to speculations and reaffirm Ajiboye’s commitment to truth and independence.
