Delta APC firm in resolve, plans Supreme Court challenge despite Appeal Court verdict

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State has expressed its rejection of the recent Appeal Court judgment regarding the state’s governorship election. The party announced its intention to contest the decision at the Supreme Court, believing in the restoration of the mandate given to it by the people of the state.

In a statement released by its Publicity Secretary, Barrister Valentine Onojeghuo, the APC commended its legal team for their efforts and asserted confidence in the strength of its case. The party urged its members to remain calm, assuring them of a favorable outcome at the apex court.

Emphasizing the belief in the eventual restoration of their mandate, the APC stated, “Our stolen mandate will surely be restored. It is only a matter of time.” The party expressed certainty that the Appeal Court’s judgment would not withstand scrutiny, declaring its unwavering confidence in the Supreme Court to deliver justice.
