Yahaya Bello envisions Kogi surpassing Lagos in development

Yahaya Bello, the outgoing Governor of Kogi State, has expressed optimism that Kogi will outpace Lagos in terms of development. Bello cited this vision as the driving force behind his emulation of President Bola Tinubu’s strategies.

During a visit to Tinubu’s wife, Oluremi, on Tuesday, Bello, accompanied by the governor-elect, Usman Ododo, shared his aspirations. He stated, “Definitely Ododo is my worthy successor that the almighty has given the crown to be the governor as from January 27, 2024.”

Bello envisions Kogi following the development trajectory set by President Tinubu in Lagos, aiming for the state to trail closely behind or even surpass Lagos in terms of development in the near future.
