Tinubu’s fiscal commitment evident in the 2024 budget, says Information Minister

Alhaji Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, emphasized that President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to fiscal responsibility is clearly demonstrated by the N27.5 trillion Appropriation Bill for 2024, recently presented to the National Assembly.

Speaking at the 2023 Public Lecture and Annual General Meeting organized by the Kaduna State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Idris commended Tinubu as a transformational leader with a successful track record in both the private sector and subnational governance. The minister expressed confidence in Tinubu’s ability to tackle challenges and overcome barriers.

Highlighting the significance of the 2024 Appropriation Bill, Idris stated, “The budget as presented signifies a pivotal step towards the realization of his Renewed Hope Agenda, by aligning fiscal strategies and priorities with broader national development objectives.”
