Primate Ayodele advises Obaseki on candidate selection

In a prophetic message, Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has cautioned Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State about the potential disappointment and rejection he might face with his current anointed candidate.

According to Ayodele, the governor’s insistence on fighting with other politicians to secure the ticket for his chosen candidate could spell failure for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the upcoming election.

“Fighting cannot ensure PDP’s victory, and Obaseki’s current approach may lead the party to failure,” warned Ayodele through his spokesperson, Oluwatosin Osho.

The spiritual leader went on to predict that Obaseki’s anointed candidate would face setbacks, though the governor might not realize it immediately. Ayodele advised Obaseki to reconsider his strategy and engage in thorough consultations before finalizing his choice.

“He should consult extensively before settling on an anointed candidate. Obaseki needs to repackage and re-strategize his political techniques. His chosen candidate may encounter challenges in winning the election, but this may not be evident to him at the moment. There’s a possibility that his candidate may be sidelined,” emphasized Ayodele.

The primate further disclosed a looming threat of external forces attempting to wrest control of Edo State from the PDP. He cautioned that if Obaseki doesn’t address potential loopholes by imposing a candidate on the party, the PDP could suffer significant losses.

“Mighty hands are poised to hijack Edo from PDP, and if Obaseki neglects caution by forcing a candidate on the party, PDP stands to lose,” added Primate Ayodele.
