In Lagos, the police brought charges against Hassan Nurudeen and Hussien Nurudeen, both aged 20, at the Badagry Chief Magistrates’ Court for allegedly ass@ulting two employees of Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC). According to ASP Clement Okuoimose, the prosecutor, the defendants committed the offenses on Nov. 27 around 1:35 pm at Evangelist Bello David Street, Aradagun, Badagry. The twins allegedly used stones and sticks to ass@ult Lamidi Akeem, an EKEDC staff, causing injury to his left eye. Additionally, they damaged a Samsung Galaxy A41 phone valued at N153,000, belonging to Enemwo Clement, another EKEDC employee.

The prosecutor cited violations of Sections 173, 339, and 172 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015. Chief Magistrate Fadaunsi Adefioye granted the defendants bail at N200,000 each, with two sureties each in like sum. The case is adjourned until Jan. 8 for mention.
