The beneficiaries, numbering 346, include primary school teachers and local government workers, with 182 and 164 beneficiaries, respectively. Akibu emphasized that the presentation of these bond certificates aligns with Governor Adeleke’s commitment to addressing salary, pension, and emolument issues within the public service.

The ceremony for the presentation of the bond certificates is scheduled to take place on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the Local Government Service Commission building in Abere.

This initiative is part of Governor Adeleke’s ongoing efforts to address outstanding financial commitments inherited from the previous administration, including the payment of half salaries and other emoluments owed to public servants.
