The Ikon Allah Boys clinched a 1-0 win against Bayelsa United at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna on Saturday. Yahuza Bala scored the lone goal in the second half of the match, courtesy of a well-placed pass from Idris Saidu.
Abarah acknowledged that the game was challenging but conveyed his joy at securing the win. He stated, “Our target was to win the match, we planned for it and we won it. Though it was a difficult game from start to finish, fortunately, we got the much-needed goal, and that was our plan.”
Following this victory, Niger Tornadoes climbed to the sixth position in the league standings.
