Kano Government firm in the face of arson att@ck on Local Government secretariat

The Kano State Government remains resolute and undistracted in the aftermath of the arson attack on the Gwale Local Government Secretariat, declared Deputy Governor Aminu Gwarzo. During his inspection of the charred council secretariat, Gwarzo issued a stern warning that legal measures would be taken against those accountable for the destructive incident.

Gwarzo emphasized that certain individuals are attempting to instigate chaos and turmoil in the state. He acknowledged awareness of these actors who seek to exploit the upcoming Supreme Court judgment for their ulterior motives. However, he assured that the government, led by Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf of the NNPP, is committed to maintaining peace in Kano.

The deputy governor highlighted the government’s focus on its mandate and emphasized that the administration will not be swayed by the disruptive actions of miscreants. Despite attempts to tarnish the government’s image, Gwarzo expressed confidence that the state’s leadership, led by Governor Abba, remains steadfast in achieving its goals and securing victory.
