NSCDC strengthens security for yuletide in Edo with 1,200 deployed personnel

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Edo Command, has announced the deployment of 1,200 personnel to enhance security measures in the state ahead of the Christmas and New Year festivities. According to Efosa Ogbebor, the Head of Public Relations and Media Unit, the command aims to ensure a peaceful environment during the yuletide season. The personnel, both armed and unarmed, will focus on safeguarding critical infrastructure and collaborating with other law enforcement agencies to fortify overall security. Residents are encouraged to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities, contributing to a safe and joyous festive period.
