The letter outlined incidents of v#olence, attempted ass@ssin@tions, and an alarming pattern of halting police investigations after each k#ll#ng. It emphasized the prevailing division in Nanka, with influential figures attempting to suppress the majority for upholding the truth.

Among the tragic events cited in the letter was the mÂ¥rder of a 25-year-old, Mr. Toochukwu Onyemelukwe, in the open public space of Enugwu Nanka Village square. The motive behind this k#ll#ng was linked to the victim’s association with an opposing faction of the village union.

The letter also detailed the threats and ass@ssin@tion attempts faced by Mr. Martin Okeke, who reported the m¥rder to the police. Another incident mentioned was the k#ll#ng of a politician, Mr. Joe Mohale, by unknown gunmen, shortly after his interaction with the House of Representatives member, Hon Princess Chinwe Nnabuife.

The community leaders implored Governor Soludo to initiate a thorough investigation into the numerous k#ll#ngs, calling for an inquiry into the multiple factions within the town union. They expressed concerns that unchecked factionalism could lead to the complete collapse of the town.

The plea extended to allowing the police to conduct unbiased investigations into crimes within Nanka. The community leaders emphasized the urgency of addressing these issues to restore peace and prevent further tragedy in their town.
