Kanu Nwankwo expresses gratitude to Enyimba fans for unwavering support

Enyimba Chairman, Kanu Nwankwo, has conveyed his heartfelt appreciation to the club’s dedicated fans for their unwavering support since he assumed the leadership role. Kanu extended his gratitude to the supporters, acknowledging their steadfastness during challenging periods.

In a thank-you message addressed to the club, the former Super Eagles forward emphasized that the fans’ support serves as a motivating factor for him to wholeheartedly contribute to the team’s success.

“We want to thank our fans for standing with us since taking charge of the club,” he expressed in his message. “Personally, I want to thank you for standing by us during difficult periods; your support and love are a motivation for us to do more for the club.”

Kanu Nwankwo took over the reins from veteran club administrator Felix Anyansi-Agu earlier this year, and under his leadership, the club has pursued efforts to rebrand and secure lucrative sponsorship deals. Despite these off-field successes, Enyimba has faced challenges on the pitch, falling short of reaching the group stage in the CAF Champions League and experiencing a disappointing performance in the inaugural African Football League.
