FCT Police Arrest Individual for Orchestrating False Kidn@pping Scheme

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has officially reported the apprehension of Nnamdi Agu on allegations of orchestrating a fake kidn@pping scheme with the intent to defr@ud his family members.

In a statement released on Saturday night, the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, debunked the rumors circulating about a kidn@pping incident at the River Park Estate in Lugbe. Adeh clarified that no kidn@pping occurred at the estate and disclosed that Nnamdi Agu had, in fact, fabricated his own kidn@pping to deceive his brother, who resides in the same estate.

The statement from the FCT Police Command clarified, “The FCT Police Command is aware of the news making rounds about an alleged kidn@pping incident at River Park estate on Saturday and wishes to state that contrary to reports, nobody was kidn@pped in River Park Estate.”

It further detailed that Nnamdi Agu, a resident of Games Village, faked his own kidn@pping in an attempt to defr@ud his brother. The suspect is currently in police custody and is undergoing interrogation.

The FCT Police assured the public that investigations are ongoing, and any further developments will be communicated promptly. This incident highlights the importance of thorough investigations to uncover deceptive acts that may jeopardize public safety and create unnecessary panic.
