According to Shiisu, the arrest was made by policemen in Ringim in collaboration with a local vigilance group. The 50-year-old resident of Yandutsen Kawari village was reportedly specialized in fabricating firearms for miscreants.

During a search of the suspect’s residence, law enforcement discovered a locally-made pistol and two rifles. The suspect reportedly confessed to manufacturing a significant number of firearms, selling them to individuals he couldn’t identify.

Assuring that a thorough investigation would be conducted, Shiisu stated that once completed, the suspect would be arraigned to face legal consequences for his alleged involvement in firearm manufacturing and distribution.
