Kano Police apprehend 15 suspects, 20 stolen vehicles recovered

In a significant operation, the Kano State Police Command has successfully arrested 15 individuals and recovered 20 stolen vehicles from various parts of the state. This announcement came through the command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Kiyawa, in a statement released on Tuesday in Kano.

The apprehension of suspects and the retrieval of stolen vehicles showcase the police command’s unwavering commitment to eradicating cr#minal activities within the state.

SP Abdullahi Kiyawa stated, “We are fully committed to combating cases of theft of motor vehicles and all forms of criminal activities in our areas of supervision. In the last month, the police command consistently demonstrated its commitment to ensuring the protection of lives and properties of all residents of the state.”

This proactive approach aligns with the directives and vision of Inspector-General Egbetokun, urging all police commands and formations to implement community-based policing, intelligence-led policing, and the display of professional competence for effective service delivery.
