The Jigawa State Government has allocated N173 million for the installation of a solar mini grid at Dutse General Hospital in Dutse Local Government Area. The funds allocated for the solar mini grid at Dutse General Hospital, totaling N172,754,158.00, align with Governor Umar Namadi’s commitment to enhancing the standards of general hospitals across the state, with the goal of improving healthcare delivery.

Additionally, the State Executive Council approved N324.8 million for the construction, rehabilitation, and upgrading of 33 Small Towns Water Supply Schemes in 14 constituencies. This strategic move aims to address water supply challenges in various communities, contributing to better living conditions for residents.

Furthermore, the council gave the green light for a fumigation chamber at Maigatari Export Processing Zone (EPZ) in Maigatari Local Government Area. The establishment of this chamber is designed to enhance hibiscus production in the state, ensuring the quality meets the requirements set by the Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC) for exportation.
