Doma United Coach Onigbinde points to poor officiating as culprit in Sunshine Stars defeat

Akinade Onigbinde, the head coach of Doma United, expressed dissatisfaction with the officiating during his team’s recent 2-0 defeat against Sunshine Stars. The Savannah Tigers faced the setback at the Ondo Sports Complex, with Isaac Emmanuel and Opeoluwa Olufemi securing the victory for Sunshine Stars.

In response to the outcome, Onigbinde called for stricter sanctions on officials who fail to meet their responsibilities. In a statement to the club’s media, he stated, “I’m not really pleased with the officiating of our match against Sunshine Stars. The NRA needs to work harder on the officials that failed in the discharge of their duties.”

Looking ahead, Onigbinde emphasized that Doma United would address the identified lapses from the game. Despite the defeat, the team currently holds 28 points from 16 matches in their overall performance.
